Large-format printing and finishing of drawings
Short answer: We print drawings from A4 to A0 in black and white or colour, from file or from paper originals, and deliver them flat, rolled or folded to A4 for binders. Finishing includes folding, hole reinforcement, lamination and mounting. Printing takes place in our own facility in Västerås, Sweden, where drawing handling has been our core business since 1966.

We print from PDF, PLT, CALS and TIFF. Plotting directly from DWG is possible if we know the pen sets and x-references that apply, so that line widths and layers come out as intended. The easiest route is to print to PDF in the right format and scale yourself, because then we see exactly what you see.
Paper originals and scale changes
If you do not have the file, we scan the paper original and print from the scan, so you also get a digital file. This includes older originals, tracing paper and blueprints. We enlarge and reduce between formats so that the dimensional scale follows.

Sets for several recipients
If the same drawing set is going to several recipients, we sort the sets and label them per recipient before they are dispatched.
Orders from abroad
Customers outside Sweden send us their files or originals, and we ship the printed drawings rolled in a tube or folded. Freight, customs and VAT depend on the destination and are agreed in the quotation. Scanning of large-format originals is covered under large-format scanning.

Can you print a drawing from paper if we do not have the file?
Yes. We scan the original and print from the scan, so you get a digital file at the same time.
Which file format should we send?
PDF in the right format and scale is the easiest. We also accept PLT, CALS and TIFF, and plot from DWG if we get the pen sets and x-references.
Can you change the scale of a drawing?
Yes. We enlarge and reduce between the A formats so that the dimensional scale follows.
Can you print on a material that withstands weather?
Yes. Tyvek is water-resistant, very hard to tear, can be folded without cracking and can be written on with a pen.
